Software in Mobile Propulsion
In summer semester, we offer the lecture Software in Mobile Propulsion. In this lecture, students of mechanical engineering are introduced to the subject function and software development which is necessary for modern powertrains development. The peer-group of this lecture are engineers who want to see behind the curtain of software development process. Goal of the lecture is to teach the basic knowledge that is necessary for the daily work in the profession.
Content
In the lecture, students in mechanical engineering are introduced to the subject function and software development which is necessary for modern powertrains development. Starting with the system requirements of modern combustion engines the following necessary development activity, technology and methods for following development steps (specification, architecture development, implementation, testing, acceptance) will be explained.
The exercise will update the lecture content and also contains practical parts (creation of a software function with Matlab/Simulink).
The lecture is particular aimed to engineers who want to gain insight the development of motor drives. Goal of the lecture is to teach the basic knowledge that is necessary for the daily work in the profession.
