GEMS Day 2023
Teaching and Research Area Mechatronics in Mobile Propulsion invites to learning event
Once again, students of our course "Basics of Electrical Engineering for Mechatronic Systems" had the opportunity to gain an interesting insight into the research work of the Teaching and Research Area Mechatronics in Mobile Propulsion. As part of our practical event on October 19, 2023 we offered a guided tour at the Center for Mobile Propulsion (CMP), along with impressions of our testing environments and ongoing test bench operation.
The first laps could already be driven on the institute's driving simulator and the interfaces to mechanics and software could be impressively experienced.
This year's highlight once again was the visit to the test track, where the students had the opportunity to experience a variety of vehicles and drive technologies first-hand. Vehicles of numerous performance levels were presented, from 50 kW all-electric and 130 kW fuel cell hybrid to 590 kW combustion engine hybrid.
