New Publication in IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification
Our new article "An FPGA-based Real-time Spatial Harmonics Model of a PMSM Considering Iron Losses and the Thermal Impact" has been published in the journal "IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification". We would like to thank the authors around René Scheer for their contribution to reduce the effort involved in the development of vehicle powertrains. Using the highly accurate model, the behavior in the powertrain can be analyzed early in the development process of the electric machine without having to build a real prototype. In the future, these real-time models will be used for the functional development of control algorithms in conjunction with control units as well as for the early consideration of interactions of the electric machine with other components in the system.
