Realization of project ToRSteM starting August 2022
The Teaching and Research Area Mechatronics in Mobile Propulsion is conducting the ToRSteM project. The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Action and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia has approved funding within the framework of progres.nrw.
During project runtime a test bench will be enabled to determine the efficiency of two test objects in thermal comparative tests. The aim of these investigations is to develop a universal, methodical approach that can be used to optimize electrified powertrains with regard to thermal aspects (operating strategy and component design) and to validate it using test bench experiments.
